Our History

RCCG God's Love Tabernacle is part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), a global church with roots in Nigeria and a presence across the UK and worldwide.

The RCCG story

The RCCG was founded in 1952 by Pa Josiah Akindayomi, who received the church's name and covenant from God. In 1981, Pastor E. A. Adeboye became the General Overseer. Under his leadership the church has grown to thousands of parishes in Nigeria and internationally, including a strong presence in the United Kingdom.

God's Love Tabernacle

God's Love Tabernacle (GLT) continues this mission in Barkingside, Ilford. We gather for worship, Bible study, and prayer, and we welcome everyone seeking a place to grow in faith and community.
